Our creative muses, Lisa Overing, Julianne Raines and Len Kaufman, are a closely knit team of experienced professionals collaborating on the highest level. Lisa Overing is the agency copywriter, creative director and marketing consultant responsible for translating the client’s narrative into a completed creative project. Years as a marine journalist shaped Lisa’s words with trust, not hype. Lisa is regarded as an influencer in the yachting; her personal Linked In posts generate 150,000 impressions annually with high engagement. Lisa supervises the agency’s social channels while managing other agency deliverables and relationships. She connects top marine editors and writers with client news and accomplishments, shaping editorial content with a bonus buzz in the marketplace.

Lisa’s communications career began as regional marketing manager for First Interstate Bank of Wisconsin; she later supervised marquee accounts for Hearst Advertising and League Marketing. In the marine industry, Lisa was communications director for Overing Yacht Designs and served on the board of directors of Boating Writers International (BWI) from 2007 - 2012. As a marine journalist, her in-depth knowledge of the industry is published in nine languages and 50 consumer and trade publications since 2002. Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Lisa graduated from the University of New Orleans (UNO) with a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing. Lisa works and lives the salt life, based on the Intracoastal Waterway in South Florida between Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Her passions include video editing, flying drone, weightlifting and her two Labrador Retrievers.

Julianne Raines is art director and graphic designer for Megayacht Media. Julie helps clients achieve a unique look and compelling visual identity for their brand through type, layout and design. Raines worked for several design firms and was previously graphic designer for Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF); she’s created the visual personality for numerous, marine industry events and megayacht brands with timeless logos standing the test of time. While she excels at graphic design for print, Julie mastered digital technology and is Megayacht Media’s production manager, also responsible for e-brochures and HTML newsletters for digital marketing in addition to developing and maintaining a growing list of client websites.

Julie’s impeccable sense of balance, style and detail is exhibited in everything artistic. She designs exquisite wedding cakes, honing her sense of proportion at a young age in her family’s bakery business. A native of Boca Raton, Florida, Julie graduated from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and is a Star Wars aficionado. She now resides with her family in North Carolina.

Intrepid veteran photographer and videographer, Len Kaufman, joined Megayacht Media in 2024 as its new photography director. Len’s dramatic images from over 91 countries have illustrated cruise lines, airlines and tourism destinations around the world. Beyond commercial advertising, his work in editorial is published in a variety of major titles, including Travel and Leisure, Travel Holiday, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post, as well as The Maritime Executive and leading marine periodicals.

Over the last 15 years, Len filmed most of the work depicting Port Everglades, specializing in aerial photography and complicated interiors. He perfected a cost-effective way to shoot interiors for cruise ships, hotels, resorts and condominiums, mastering evolving technology throughout his career. While maintaining a digital stock collection exceeding 250,000 images, Len’s YouTube channel boasts 8 million views with 20,000+ subscribers. His extensive studio is also well-equipped for product and portrait photography. Len resides in Hollywood, Florida and enjoys kayaking and playing the guitar whenever he’s not working.

In addition to complete photography, videography and digital marketing, Megayacht Media is grounded in beautiful graphic design articulating entendres that command attention, specifically reaching male decision makers controlling vessel budgets.
